We are a non-profit organization committed to creating permanently affordable housing in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis, TN.

Founded in 2018, the Binghampton Community Land trust is a community-led affordable housing initiative operating in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis, TN. Through acquiring, rehabbing, and reselling blighted housing and property using the community land trust model, we are keeping our neighborhood affordable for long-time residents and accessible to families facing the economic effects of gentrification.

Fundraising for Interpretation Equipment

*ongoing in 2024*

The Binghampton Community Land Trust provides affordable housing in perpetuity for families from all over the world.  We need headphones for interpretation so that everyone has access to the information. Our goal is to fundraise $1,500 and we we’ve had some generous donations to get us almost halfway there. We need your help to get us to the finish line!

This project is funded in part through the generous support of the Hyde Foundation.
